Dawn Barnett

Dawn Barnett is an experienced mental health professional with a comprehensive background in crisis intervention and therapy. Since June 2013, Dawn has served as a Crisis Clinician at Steward Health Care, conducting crisis evaluations for patients with mental health issues in emergency settings. Additionally, Dawn has been an In Home Therapist at the Family Service Association of Fall River since October 2010, providing intensive therapy to clients under MassHealth insurance and aiding them in achieving personal goals. As an Expressive Arts Therapist at Bournewood Health Systems since August 2009, Dawn leads therapeutic art groups across various units, catering to diverse populations including adults with major mental illnesses and adolescents. Prior experience also includes a role as a Family Clinician at Communities for People and instructing CPR, AED, and first aid at the Hockomock Area YMCA. Dawn holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Bridgewater State University.
