Jim Shina

Jim Shina has extensive work experience in the healthcare field. Jim began their career in 2005 as a Medical Director/Team Physician at Youngstown State University and later became a College Professor. In 2007, they joined Community Medical Associates as a Doctor of Internal Medicine/Managing Partner. Jim also served as a Team Physician/Medical Director at Austintown Local Schools. In 2011, Jim became a member of the Board of Directors at ValleyCare of Ohio/Northside Hospital and later held the role of Vice President of Medical Staff. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Chief of Staff at Northside Medical Center. In 2018, they joined Steward Health Care as an Associate Program Director in Internal Medicine, an Internal Medicine Physician, and currently holds the role of Regional Medical Director. Additionally, Jim has also served as the Medical Director at Woodlands at Austinwoods since 2012.

Jim Shina completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology and Chemistry at Youngstown State University from 1996 to 1999. Jim then went on to obtain their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from NEOMED between 1999 and 2003. Following this, they completed their Internal Medicine Residency at Northside Hospital from 2003 to 2006.
