Gerry More

Gerry has been a Main Board Director, as well as divisional managing director, of several UK housebuilding companies across a property industry career spanning over 30 years.

In his role at Stewart Milne Group, he provides leadership and strategic direction for the three housebuilding divisions. Alongside supporting the Homes Divisions, Gerry leads the Group's land activities from both an operational and strategic perspective, and the Group's marketing function with a specific focus on homes activity.

Gerry is a former Chairman, and 15-year board member, of Scottish industry trade body Homes for Scotland and adviser to the Scottish Government on policy initiatives to increase long term institutionally funded investment in large scale new build, professionally managed, rental homes. His considered, commercial and professional manner has earned him respect across the sector, and he is proud to advocate an open and supportive cultural approach, which is evident across the business.

Outside of the office, Gerry enjoys spending time with his family skiing, sightseeing and cycling. His family have had an important bearing on his career choice. With his father being a carpenter who worked on many major construction projects across the UK, he's been around construction since he was a small child; it's clearly in the blood.
