Jesper Grode

Jesper Grode has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jesper has worked at VIA University College as a Member of the Advisory Committee to Software Education. At Stibo Systems, they held various roles including Director of Product Innovation, Product Strategy Director for Multidomain MDM, Director of Product Strategy, Section Manager in Research & Development, and Principal Consultant. Jesper also served as an Appointed External Examiner at Ingeniøruddannelsernes censorkorps - Elektro-retningen. Additionally, they worked at VIA University College as an Associate Professor and Head of Programme for Applied Research and Development in Welfare Technology. Jesper has also worked as an Assistant Professor of ICT Engineering. At Stibo Systems, they held positions as Chief Solution Architect, Head of Custom Solutions, Ph.D., Head of Professional Services, Head of Customer Development, Support Manager, and Developer in R&D. Jesper has also studied at the Technical University of Denmark, earning a Master's degree.

Jesper Grode has an educational background that includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 1995 to 1998. Jesper also participated in a Ph.D. study focused on Hardware/Software Codesign at Grenoble INP - UGA for a year in 1997. Prior to their Ph.D., Jesper completed a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M. Sc.) at DTU from 1990 to 1995, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Programming. Before pursuing higher education, Jesper served in the Danish Military, completing training as a Staff Sergeant, Sergent School Instructor, and a Private at the Royal Danish Engineers from 1987 to 1990. Jesper achieved a College Degree specializing in Math-Physics from Nyborg Gymnasium from 1984 to 1987. Additionally, Jesper has obtained certifications such as Pragmatic Certified Product Manager and PMC Level II from Pragmatic Institute in the year 2020.
