Roos Soetekouw

Roos Soetekouw is a seasoned Textile Designer operating from a studio in Oudemolen since February 2010. Alongside this role, Roos serves as Workshop Lead at Stichting de Vrolijkheid, where artistic initiatives support the development and empowerment of children and young adults in asylum centers. In addition, Roos has been an educator in material innovation at Artemis Academie since January 2018, inspiring students through research and experimentation with various materials and techniques. Previous experiences include roles as a Fabric & Interior Designer at MixTup, a Creative Designer for The Exchange Hotel, and a Junior Print Designer at Hunkemöller, along with internships focusing on natural dyes and photo styling. Roos holds a Bachelor of Fashion Technology from AMFI, obtained in 2010, and earlier completed secondary education at Hervormd Lyceum Zuid.
