Ruby Fasten

Ruby Fasten has an extensive career in higher education and legal practice, currently serving as the Chair of the Sectoral Advisory Board for Higher Economic Education at Vereniging Hogescholen and as a member of the Executive Board of the Sector Council for Higher Economic Education. Ruby Fasten has been the Director of the Faculty of Management and Business at Leiden University of Applied Sciences since September 2008, where responsibilities include overseeing educational development and ensuring financial viability of the HBO-Rechten program. Ruby Fasten also coordinates the part-time HBO-Rechten program and teaches law courses to students across various years. Additional roles include Board Member at PLNT Leiden and Supervisory Board Member at Stichting Het Rijnlands Lyceum. Prior experience includes roles as a trainee lawyer focusing on labor and rental law, a recruitment consultant, a paralegal, and a court secretary. Ruby Fasten holds a Master's degree in Law from Leiden University, a Graduate Diploma in Law from BPP Law School, and completed studies at Monash University and Lycée International in France.
