Andrea L. Espy, M.A.

Andrea L. Espy, M.A. has over 20 years of experience in leadership coaching, facilitation, and talent/leadership development program design. Andrea L. is the founder of Andrea Espy Consulting, LLC, where they provide corporate leadership coaching and specializes in helping senior leaders grow and thrive. Andrea L. has also worked as an Executive Coach for Quantuvos and Executive Coaches of Orange County (ECofOC).

In their previous roles, Andrea has served as the Director of Organizational Development at Vans, a VF Company, where they oversaw talent and learning strategy for the corporate office and retail sides of the business. Andrea L. has also held the position of Director of Talent and Organizational Development at Vintage Senior Living, where they drove a comprehensive organizational development and learning strategy.

Additionally, Andrea has worked as the Manager of Organizational Development at Advantage Sales & Marketing, where they developed and implemented strategic solutions to enhance business performance and talent management strategies. Andrea L. has also served as an Organizational Development Consultant at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, where they led leadership development programs and developed multi-platform approaches for learning.

Andrea's most recent role is as a Talent Officer at the Filene Research Institute, where they advocate for the organization and its people, supports talent development and organizational goals, and coaches executives and senior leaders.

Andrea L. will soon begin working as a Program Manager at WOMEN Unlimited, Inc., The Women's Organization for Mentoring, Education and Networking, where they will focus on preparing early-career women to contribute to corporate goals and objectives.

Andrea L. Espy, M.A. began their education at The Bishop's School. While the dates of their attendance are not provided, it can be assumed that they completed their secondary education at this institution.

Following their time at The Bishop's School, Andrea attended UC Santa Barbara from 1996 to 2000. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Andrea enrolled at Alliant International University-San Diego Campus from 2000 to 2002. Andrea L. pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Organizational Psychology.

In addition to their formal education, Andrea has obtained various certifications throughout their career. Andrea L. became a Talent Optimization Certified Partner through The Predictive Index in April 2020. In August 2018, they received the certification of Coach, Benchmarks 360 from the Center for Creative Leadership. In January 2018, Andrea became a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst, specializing in Style Insights and DISC, through TTI Success Insights.

Andrea L. furthered their professional development by completing the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Signature Program offered by FranklinCovey in August 2014. In February 2013, Andrea completed the Employee Engagement - UC Management Development Program offered by BlessingWhite, a division of GP Strategies. Andrea L. also participated in the Influencing for Organizational Impact and Making Change Happen program by DDI | Development Dimensions International in December 2012. Additionally, they completed the Managing People program offered by Willis Towers Watson in September 2012.

Further certifications obtained by Andrea include Reigniting the Spirit of Caring by Creative Healthcare Management in March 2006, and Facilitator, Genuine Leadership by Achieve Global in June 2004.
