Carla Thielen

Carla Thielen serves as the Head of Operations at De Bastei since November 2022. Prior to this role, Carla Thielen has been with Tropenmuseum, Afrika Museum, and Museum Volkenkunde since September 2003, starting as a financial employee and advancing to Head of Financial Administration at Afrika Museum until 2014. Since 2014, Carla Thielen has been the Coordinator of Operations at Afrika Museum, which is part of the National Museum of World Cultures. Carla Thielen's educational background includes a degree in Business Economics from ISBW Opleiding & Training (1999-2002) and ongoing studies in MEAO/MBA from ISBW Opleiding & Training, as well as further education at SUAS - A Schouten & Nelissen Company.
