Manon van Meer

Manon van Meer is a seasoned professional with significant experience in sustainability and project management. Currently serving as Kwartiermaker/leidinggevende inkoop en MVO at Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier since February 2020, Manon leads the Purchasing and CSR cluster, focusing on improving sustainable procurement practices and social responsibility within government operations. Additionally, Manon holds the roles of Programmamanager MVO en SDG’s and Programma coordinator for the Climate and Energy program in Noord-Holland. As the Voorzitter of the Gemeenschappelijke Medenzeggenschapraad OVO Zaanstad since November 2022, Manon advocates for stakeholder participation. Previously, as Project/Financial Manager and Environmental Specialist at the Dutch Recreational Waterways Foundation, Manon managed European-funded projects focusing on sustainability in the boating industry. Manon holds a BSc in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Management and Hydrology from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and completed French Studies at Alliance Française de Paris.
