Mirjam Simmering

Mirjam Simmering currently serves as Teamleider Wijkteams Arnhem at Stichting Sociale Wijkteams Arnhem since September 2022. Prior to this, Mirjam held the position of Procesregisseur Veiligheidshuis - Jeugdbescherming en Huiselijk Geweld at Gemeente Arnhem from January 2020 to September 2022, where Mirjam acted as chair of the protection table and became the procesregisseur for multi-disciplinary teams addressing domestic violence in 2022. Mirjam also has experience as a waarnemend Gebiedsmanager at William Schrikker, as well as a Jeugdzorgwerker with the same organization and at the Advies- en Meldpunt Kindermishandeling. Earlier career roles include self-employed psychosocial counselor at EZRA and Raadsonderzoeker at the Raad voor de Kinderbescherming. Mirjam's education includes a Bachelor's degree in Maatschappelijk werk en dienstverlening from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, with additional training and education from ICM opleidingen & trainingen and Open Universiteit.
