Nina Verheul has had a varied work experience. Nina started as a Front Office at Tandartsen aan de Herengracht in 2006. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Office Assistant at Qmagic and then as a Front Office/substitute Supervisor Housekeeping at Singel Hotel. In 2012, they worked as a Teaching Assistant Spanish at Montessori Lyceum Oostpoort. From 2015 to 2018, they were a Branch Manager at Da Portare Via and then a Quality & Export at PASTIFICIO FRATELLI DE LUCA S.R.L. In 2017, they were a Festival Coordinator at Human Rights Nights. Since 2019, they have been working as a Front Office at Grape Hospitality. Currently, they are also working as a Customer Support Agent EU at Sticker Mule and as a Childcare Worker in a private setting.

Nina Verheul has a diverse educational background. Nina completed a Master of Arts (MA) 72/90 ECTS in Heritage Studies: Heritage and Memory at the University of Amsterdam from 2016 to 2018. During their studies, they also participated in an international exchange at the Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna in 2017, studying Semiotics. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in European Studies: Literature and Culture at the University of Amsterdam from 2012 to 2015, and participated in an international exchange at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2014 to 2015, studying Philology and History. Nina also obtained a Foundation degree in Teacher Education in Spanish from the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 2011 to 2012. In addition, Nina has obtained several certifications, including an Erasmus+ OLS language assessment in English - CEFR C2 from the Universiteit van Amsterdam in 2017, an IELTS: International English Language Testing System - CEFR C1 from the British Council in 2016, and a DELE: Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera from the Colegio Delibes in 2006.
