María José Cuenca López has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. María José started as an Administrative General Cashier at Caja de Burgos before transitioning to a Personal Banker at Caixa Galicia, where they built lasting relationships with customers and provided financial advice. María then worked as a Financial Assistant at Tate, handling accounts payable and later became a Front of House Team Member. María José then served as an Accountant and Assistant Financial Controller at GAUCHO before becoming an Assistant Director of Finance at The Curtain Hotel & Members Club. María then worked as a Controller AP & Management Accountant at The Ritz London. María José joined Nobu Hotel London Shoreditch as a Finance Manager, overseeing various finance functions, including financial statements, payroll, and budgets. Currently, María holds the position of Head of Finance UK at Sticks'n'Sushi.

María José Cuenca López attended BPP University in 2016, where they pursued the ACCA F1-F3 Applied Knowledge degree in Accounting and Business/Management. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from Universidad de Almería between 2011 and 2012.
