Jared Sudekum is a dedicated advocate for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and a passionate gardener and gardening educator, currently serving as HCS Supervisor and Program Director at Hope House of Austin/Outside the Fence Farm since 2015. Jared also works as a Chef Educator for Sticky Fingers Cooking, LLC, and is a founding member of the Liberty Hill All-Access Garden Cooperative, which focuses on sustainability and inclusivity. As a Master Gardener with Williamson County and a teacher in the Citizen Gardener Program at the Sustainable Food Center, Jared develops curriculum and teaches gardening classes while fostering community engagement. Previously, Jared was a Special Education Gardening Specialist at Liberty Hill ISD, where gardening initiatives were integrated into special education. Education includes degrees from the University of Wyoming, Brigham Young University - Idaho, Texas Tech University, and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
