Laura von Daniels

Laura von Daniels is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in international political economy and related fields. Currently serving as the Head of the Research Unit The Americas at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) since April 2015, Laura has previously held positions as a Research Associate and Visiting Research Fellow at prestigious institutions such as The Brookings Institution and Helmut-Schmidt-Universität. Laura's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Harvard University, as well as faculty roles at Central European University and extensive education from esteemed universities, including a Dr. rer. pol. from Freie Universität Berlin and a Visiting PhD Student affiliation at Princeton University. Laura has contributed to significant research projects and has a solid foundation in quantitative methods and international political economy.
