Lena Hoppe

Lena Hoppe is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant to the Asia Division at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) since April 2024. Prior to this role, Lena was an International Parliamentary Scholarship Fellow at the German Parliament from March to July 2023 and completed an internship in the office of Claudia Müller MdB with BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN during the same period. Additional experience includes working as an Americorps Field Crew Member with Montana Conservation Corps, a Sustainability and Community Engagement Intern at Michigan Dining, and an Office Assistant at the University of Michigan's International Institute. Lena has also interned with the Fair Labor Association focused on sustainable food procurement, and was involved with The Michigan Urban Farming Initiative, the U.S. Department of State, and the Motown Museum. Lena holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a German Minor from the University of Michigan and has completed the International Baccalaureate program. Lena's academic background includes a Deutsches Sprachdiplom II from Deutsche Sprachschule Bloomfield.
