Ole Adolphsen

Ole Adolphsen is a research associate at Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik (SWP) since October 2023, focusing on climate foreign policy and international cooperation challenges in a shifting geopolitical landscape. Prior experience includes a trainee position at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where Ole contributed to the implementation of the Paris Agreement and coordinated German engagement with the NDC Partnership. Additional roles span international and European institutions, including a stagiaire position at the European Commission and internships at the German Academy for Security Policy and the Federal Foreign Office. Ole holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Law from Universität Erfurt, with further studies at the London School of Economics and Universidad Finnis Terrae.
