Kevin Jones

Kevin Jones is an experienced automation engineering professional with a strong background in robotics and control systems. Currently, Kevin holds the position of Automation Engineering Manager for Polymers at STIHL USA, where Kevin has progressed through various roles including Automation Engineering Supervisor and Robotics Process Engineer since joining the company in May 2013. Prior to STIHL USA, Kevin served as a Sr Controls Engineer at Flexicell, Inc., focusing on the programming of robots and industrial devices. Earlier experience includes a role as Applications Engineering Manager at Robotic Workspace Technologies, where responsibilities included developing custom robot controllers and providing installation support. Kevin began a career in the robotics field at Motoman Robotics in the UK as an Application & Programming Support Engineer. Kevin earned a BEng in Robotics & Automated Systems from the University of Plymouth, covering a comprehensive range of engineering disciplines.
