Dr. Dennis J. Wurster

Dr. Dennis J. Wurster has a strong background in strategy and consulting. Dr. Dennis J. began their career as a Research Associate and PhD Candidate at ESCP Europe in 2009, where they focused on research and completing their doctorate. In 2013, they joined KPMG as a Consultant, where they worked on various consulting projects until 2015. From 2016 to 2017, Dr. Wurster worked as a Strategy Consultant at Roland Berger, honing their skills in strategic planning. In 2018, they joined STIHL as the Director of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, where they worked until 2019. Dr. Wurster then transitioned to the role of Director of Group Strategy at STIHL in 2020, where they currently work.

Dr. Dennis J. Wurster holds a Ph.D. in International Management and Strategic Management from ESCP Business School, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed their MLitt in International Business (with distinction) at the University of St Andrews from 2008 to 2009. Dr. Dennis J. obtained their BA (Hons.) in Business Administration (first class) from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) between 2005 and 2008, specializing in Business Information Systems.
