IT Director Production & Logistics at STIHL

Konrad Christ has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Konrad began their career as an Internship Student at Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. in 2007. Following that, they worked as a Research Associate at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they focused on their PhD thesis on the calibration of solenoid injectors for gasoline direct injection using the knock sensor.

After completing their research, Konrad joined the Liebherr Group as a System Engineer from 2011 to 2014. Konrad then transitioned to STIHL, where they held multiple positions. Konrad started as a Senior Engineer ECU System Integration in March 2014 and later became a Team Leader ECU Firmware Development in October 2014. Konrad continued to grow within the company and became the Manager Systems Engineering iMOW® Ecosystem in August 2018. Konrad then took on the role of Director iMOW® Ecosystem in April 2019 and subsequently became the IT Director (Engineering & Shopfloor Applications) in November 2021. Most recently, Konrad has been serving as the IT Director Production & Logistics at STIHL since March 2023.

Overall, Konrad has gained expertise in IT, engineering, system integration, and leadership throughout their career, with a strong focus on iMOW® Ecosystem and calibration of solenoid injectors for gasoline direct injection.

Konrad Christ has an extensive education history. Konrad obtained their Ph.D. in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 2008 and 2011. In 2003, they completed their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik, Eletronik und Kommunikationstechnik from the same institute. Later, between 2017 and 2019, Konrad pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management from the ESB Business School, Reutlingen University. In 2019, they attended the MBA Summer School at Maastricht School of Management, focusing on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. Outside of their academic achievements, Konrad has also obtained certifications such as SA Certified SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., and Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering (IREB) from IREB GmbH.
