Shawna Jensen, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience that spans various educational roles. Starting in 2017, Shawna worked as a Literacy Classroom Lab Host at PEBC- Public Education & Business Coalition, providing opportunities for teachers to observe best practices and enhancing student engagement. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Aurora Public Schools, where they served as an Instructional Coach, streamlining operational procedures and leading school improvement plans. Additionally, they worked as a Literacy Educator and Content Lead, facilitating impactful learning experiences and supporting student success. In 2021, Shawna joined Stile Education as the Director of Educational Projects, shaping the strategic direction, driving successful outcomes, and establishing the company as a leader in the edtech space. Throughout their career, Shawna has demonstrated exceptional leadership, clear communication, and the ability to achieve measurable gains in academic performance and teacher satisfaction.
Shawna Jensen, Ed.D. obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Boise State University, which they completed from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado Denver, from 2011 to 2013. Their undergraduate studies were at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Philosophy from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their degrees, Shawna has additional certifications such as Social and Behavioral Researchers from CITI Program, obtained in April 2022, and a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Educator Certificate from the Colorado Department of Education. Shawna also holds a Professional Teaching License from the Colorado Department of Education.
