Björn Tönne

Björn Tönne has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Björn is currently the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Stillfront Group since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Klarna as the Director of IT Operations from October 2017 to April 2023. Before Klarna, Björn held various roles at IBM, including Delivery Executive for Sweden and Norway from January 2017 to September 2017, and Sweden Delivery Executive from December 2015 to September 2017. Björn also worked at EVRY Sverige as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Enterprise Outsourcing Services from April 2015 to December 2015, and as the Vice President of Nordic Operations for Sweden from December 2013 to December 2015. Furthermore, Björn has experience at Tieto as the Director of Global Cloud & Capacity Infrastructure from January 2013 to December 2013, and as the Director of Global Data Centre Services Infrastructure from September 2012 to January 2013. Björn also worked as a Manager and Lead System Specialist at Tieto from 2004 to 2012. In addition to these roles, Björn has served as a Partner at Imperial Equity Partners AB from September 2006 to January 2012, and as a Consultant at Direktkonsult from May 2002 to April 2004. Björn started their career as an IT Consultant at Fonator AB from April 1999 to May 2002.

Björn Tönne attended the University of Utah from 1994 to 1996. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any field of study. Prior to attending the University of Utah, they completed their upper secondary education at Blackebergs gymnasium, where they focused on natural science with a technical orientation.

Björn Tönne has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they received the CISSP Certified Information System Security Professional certification from (ISC)², showcasing their deep understanding of the field. In 2006, they obtained the Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) and Citrix certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) certifications from Citrix. Additionally, in the same year, they acquired the ITIL Foundation Level certification from Informator. In 2003, Björn Tönne earned the Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security (MCSE) certifications from Microsoft. Björn also became a Visma Business Certified Business Consultant and Visma Business Certified Technical Consultant, both certifications being awarded in 2003 and issued by Visma. Finally, in 2000, they obtained the Watchguard firewall certification and Internet Security certification from WatchGuard Technologies.
