Fatma El-Mahdi

Fatma El-Mahdi has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Fatma is currently working as a Localization Project Manager at Stillman Translations since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of a Student at alx_africa starting from May 2023.

Fatma also has experience at TransHome, where they worked from January 2020 to February 2022. During their time at TransHome, they held two positions: first as a Localization Project Manager responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing localization projects, and second as a Localization Project Management Team Leader. In this role, they were responsible for receiving handoff emails from customers, analyzing new requests, and communicating with customers to clarify project objectives and constraints.

Before joining TransHome, Fatma worked as a Localization Project Coordinator at Midlocalize from August 2019 to December 2019, and at Saudisoft Co. Ltd from February 2019 to August 2019. In both positions, they played a key role in coordinating localization projects.

Fatma started their professional journey as an Accountant Intern at Delta Inspire from October 2018 to January 2019. In this role, they assisted with gathering back-up support, preparing journal entries, validating month-end close schedules, and creating process flow documentations.

Fatma's earliest work experience was as a Telesales Representative Trainee at Etisalat Misr in 2018.

Fatma El-Mahdi's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree at Ain Shams University. Fatma attended from 2014 to 2018 and completed their degree in Accounting and Finance in the Faculty of Business English Section.

In 2022, Fatma enrolled at The American University in Cairo and pursued a Project Management Diploma from the Engineering and Science Department - ESS. This program lasted until 2023.

Apart from their formal education, Fatma also obtained various certifications. These include the Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile, obtained in May 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Project Management Foundations: Schedules certification from LinkedIn in June 2021, and a Learning Jira Software certification from LinkedIn in February 2021.
