Stilt was founded in 2013 by Shreyansh Dua, Rohit Goyal, and Sahil Gupta. The company's board of directors has a history of experience in the tech industry, with Shreyansh Dua having experience as a software engineer at A9.com and Microsoft, Sahil Gupta as a software developer at Microsoft, and Rohit Goyal as a co-founder at Onbo by Stilt Inc. and a member of the Y Combinator W16 batch. All three directors also have degrees in computer science from Jaypee University of Information Technology and Columbia University in the City of New York.
