Leen Verweij

Leen Verweij has extensive experience in public service and education, currently serving as a member of the supervisory board at Maatschappelijke Dienstverlening Veluwe since October 2011. Previously, Leen held various significant roles, including as a councilor for social affairs, welfare and care, education, and public space in gemeente Barneveld from April 2006 to May 2010, where achievements included the development of an education master plan and implementation of new projects, the establishment of a WMO policy plan, and improvements in social assistance regulations. Prior to that, Leen served as a councilor for economic affairs, environment and cleaning, personnel and organization, and ICT in gemeente Veenendaal from May 2002 to April 2006. Leen's career in education includes a position as deputy director at Ichthus College from August 1996 to April 2002. Leen holds a doctoral degree from Utrecht University.
