Research Analyst And Project Manager at The Stimson Center

Aude Darnal is a Nonresident Fellow at The Stimson Center, focusing on the Reimagining US Grand Strategy program since September 2022. Prior to this role, Aude served as Associate Director at the Atlantic Council from December 2020 to September 2022, and worked as a Safety Advisor for the International NGO Safety Organisation in the Lake Chad Basin. Aude's experience includes program development and grant management at Search for Common Ground, communications consulting for Mo Ibrahim and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and project coordination for the International Dakar Forum on Peace and Security in Africa. Aude has also conducted research and advocacy with the International Crisis Group, and held roles at the Organization of American States and the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations. Academically, Aude holds a Master’s Degree in Conflict Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, awarded with distinction, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Université du Québec à Montréal.
