Lovely Umayam

Non-resident Fellow at The Stimson Center

Lovely Umayam is a Non-Resident Fellow at The Stimson Center since July 2016, focusing on the research of breakthrough technologies for nuclear nonproliferation while also assisting in the Blockchain in Practice program. As a Fellow and Project Director, Lovely has directed initiatives on WMD nonproliferation and co-developed projects exploring blockchain technology for enhancing nuclear facility security. Additionally, Lovely founded Bombshelltoe and has held various roles in esteemed organizations, including the National Nuclear Security Administration and the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies. Educational background includes a Certificate in Nuclear Safeguards Policy Analysis from the Middlebury Institute, a degree in Political Science from Reed College, and ongoing studies in Computer Science and Cyber Security at Harvard University.
