Angela Escobar Brown

Angela Escobar Brown has a diverse work experience, starting in 2019 as a Student Representative MPP for the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. This role ended in February 2020. In the same year, Angela worked as a Captioner for Rev.com from July 2019 onwards. In 2021, Angela became a Shop Owner on Depop starting in March. Additionally, they joined the UCL Law Society as a First-Year Representative from October 2021 and later became a Second-Year Representative from June 2022.

Angela also worked at Sobeys, where they served as a Cashier starting in June 2022 and worked as a Floral Clerk from April 2020. In March 2022, Angela became a Marketing Officer for the UCL Legal Tech Society. Furthermore, they joined Stint in April 2022, working in various roles like Server, Kitchen Porter, FoH support, and Barback. Finally, Angela recently started working at the Students' Union UCL as both the Union Executive Education Rep from November 2022 and the Faculty of Laws Undergraduate Rep from October 2022.

Angela Escobar Brown started their education in 2017 when they attended Rosedale Heights School of the Arts, where they obtained an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. In 2020, they pursued further studies in law at the University of Toronto, specializing in legal studies. In 2021, Angela enrolled at UCL and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Laws - LLB degree with a specialization in Law with French Law, expected to be completed in 2025.

In terms of additional certifications, in March 2019, Angela obtained an Intermediate Ballet certification from the Royal Academy of Dance. In January of the same year, they achieved a Grade 9 Piano certification from The Royal Conservatory of Music. Prior to their secondary school studies, Angela obtained a Childcare certification from the Canadian Red Cross in February 2017.
