Kishan Kumar

Kishan Kumar, PE, is an accomplished project engineer with extensive experience in structural engineering. Currently at Stiver Engineering, Inc. since August 2021, Kishan focuses on project design and management. Previously, as a graduate structural engineer at Decon Structural Engineering, significant contributions included the design of composite steel curved girder bridges and optimization of sign structures in compliance with AASHTO standards. Kishan also served as an instructional assistant and graduate assistant at the University of Houston, where curriculum support and multi-story building analysis were key responsibilities. Early career experiences as a junior structural engineer at Bharatiya City Developers involved structural drawing preparation and quality assurance in projects. Kishan holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
