Andrew Daniels

Andrew Daniels is the founder of Vido Research Consultants Limited, established in April 2018, where the focus is on providing analytical insights into Japan through bespoke research and management engagement. As the Japan SRA Lead and a consultant at STJ Advisors since July 2022, Andrew leverages extensive experience in strategic research. Previously, Andrew served as Managing Director at Indus Capital Advisors from April 2008 to February 2018, specializing in long-short and long-only investment strategies across various sectors, including capital goods and technology. Andrew's career began as a Sales Analyst at Collins Stewart Ltd., where foundational skills in fundamental analysis were developed. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Oriental Studies (Japanese) from the University of Oxford and studies at Kanazawa University.
