Vaibhav Khanna

Vaibhav Khanna is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in intellectual property management and strategy, currently serving as the Global Head of Intellectual Property at Sterlite Technologies Limited since June 2013. In this role, Vaibhav provides strategic legal support on complex IP issues, leads risk management initiatives, and ensures compliance with IP-related contracts. Prior to Sterlite, Vaibhav held the position of Head of Corporate Intellectual Property at Moser Baer, where responsibilities included expanding the patent portfolio and generating significant revenue through licensing agreements. Earlier experience includes project management at Evalueserve, focusing on IP projects for Motorola, and engineering roles at Reliance Industries and Vedanta Group. Vaibhav holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and advanced degrees in Intellectual Property Law and Management.
