St. Luke's Hospital Chief of Medicine & Network Physician Liaison at St. Luke's Hospital

Maged Y. Haikal, MD, FACC, FACP, specializes in interventional cardiology at Cardiac Specialists of St. Luke's. He has served as the chief of medicine for St. Luke's Hospital since January 2015 and as St. Luke's chief of cardiac services since September 1997.

Dr. Haikal is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He received his medical degree from Université Saint-Joseph and was chief resident at St. Luke's. Dr. Haikal also completed cardiology fellowships at St. Luke's and the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is also a member of the American Federation for Medical Research.

Dr. Haikal is a recipient of the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award for his demonstrated commitment to patient care through continuing medical education.
