Maria Sköld

Maria Sköld serves as the Senior Communications and Impact Officer at the Stockholm Environment Institute since September 2023, following a tenure as Senior Communications Manager at the Stockholm International Water Institute from April 2018 to September 2023. Previous roles include being a project manager and editor at Spoon Publishing, and a politikreporter and columnist at Göteborgs Posten from 1996 to 2013, where Maria specialized in domestic politics. Maria has also contributed to the media as a stringer and foreign correspondent from Central America and Southeast Asia. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Communication for Development from Malmö University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Gothenburg.
