Andrew Barton has a strong background in data analysis and technology. Andrew started their career at McDonald's Corporation as a Crew Trainer before moving on to Quickflix Limited as a Fulfilment Coordinator. Andrew then joined Melbourne IT as a Commercial Analyst, where they focused on internal process development and cost optimization using cloud infrastructure. After that, they worked at Hitwise, a division of Connexity, as an Insights Analyst, gaining experience in data analysis and reporting. Following this, they joined Slingshot Media Ventures as a Junior Data Scientist, further expanding their skills in data science. Currently, Andrew is working at Stockland as a Data Scientist and has recently been promoted to the position of Machine Learning Engineering Team Lead.

Andrew Barton has a Master of Data Science from the University of Sydney, which was obtained in 2018. Before that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Pure and Applied Mathematics from the same university, between the years 2010 and 2012. Prior to starting their university education, Andrew attended SCECGS Redlands from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Extension Mathematics, Software Design, Physics, Chemistry, and English. In terms of additional certifications, Andrew is a participant in the AWS Data Lab program offered by Amazon Web Services, with the certification obtained in 2023.
