Tapio Salo

Tapio Salo has a diverse work experience in the field of enterprise architecture and consulting. Tapio currently holds the position of Head of Enterprise Architecture at Stockmann since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Enterprise Architect at Stockmann from November 2021 to January 2022. Before joining Stockmann, Tapio was an Enterprise Architect for Hospitality (MaRa) and Service Stations (ABC) at SOK from April 2019 to October 2021. Tapio also served as a Lead Architect at IBM, focusing on cloud and blockchain-related projects, from June 2017 to March 2019. Prior to IBM, Tapio worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Capgemini from October 2015 to May 2017. Tapio started their career at Oracle in 2008, holding the position of Senior Consultant. During their time at Oracle, Tapio mainly worked with Oracle SOA Suite, Application Integration Architecture (AIA), and Siebel CRM. Before Oracle, they worked as a Consultant at Capgemini Finland and as a Senior Programmer at Accenture.

Tapio Salo obtained their Master's Degree in Information Engineering from the University of Oulu in 2010. Tapio also has additional certifications, including IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer and IBM Blockchain Consulting obtained in November 2017 and September 2017 respectively. Tapio obtained AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2017. Tapio Salo also obtained a Siebel 8.0 Core Consultant certification from Oracle in 2010.
