Daniel Nenkov has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Daniel began their career at Haemimont AD as a Software Developer in 2005. Daniel then worked at Musala Soft as a Software Engineer, where they implemented a peer monitoring module for the JXSE project.

In 2008, Nenkov joined Business Systems (UK) Ltd as a JavaEE Developer. Daniel spent two years in this role before moving to BeCognitive Systems Ltd as a Senior Java Developer.

Nenkov then joined Semafone as a Senior Java Engineer in 2011. Here, they designed, developed, and maintained the payment module in the company's award-winning software solution.

In 2015, Nenkov joined Callsign as a Senior Platform Engineer. Daniel later became a Team Lead and was responsible for leading a team that owned half of the Callsign Platform. Daniel oversaw the software development lifecycle and was involved in architecture, design, and development of new products and features.

Nenkov then worked at HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) as a Technical Team Lead. Here, they ensured that the divorce microservices fit into the overall High-Level Design of the Reform Programme and created robust and secure software.

In 2018, Nenkov joined Mettle as a Senior Consultant Contract. Daniel improved the architecture by replacing relational databases with compacted Kafka topics.

Their most recent role was at Stockopedia as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented a fast and powerful stock screener and a federated GraphQL endpoint.

Throughout their career, Nenkov has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and technologies and has been involved in all stages of the software development process.

From 2005 to 2010, Daniel Nenkov attended Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science during this time.
