Zachary Zapata is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at Stockpile since April 2018, Zachary leads a team of ten engineers, overseeing project management, resource allocation, and contributing to the backend codebase with innovative features such as customer memberships and referral support. Previously, Zachary held roles as Principal Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on backend services for a brokerage platform and a financial technology startup, respectively. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer position at Cisco, contributing to real-time analytics platforms, as well as internships at Visa and Harris Corporation. Zachary earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2016.
