Michael Eleff

Michael Eleff has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michael started their career as a Software Development Intern at The World Bank in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Securities - Strategist Intern at Goldman Sachs and later took on the role of TA at the University of Maryland. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Commodities Modeling at Goldman Sachs. Michael then joined AQR Capital Management as part of the Global Stock Selection team from 2016 to 2019. After that, they joined Hartree Partners as part of the Forecasting - North American Power team from 2019 to 2021. Most recently, they have been working at Amazon as a Senior Applied Scientist from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of Machine Learning and Data Products at Stocktwits.

Michael Eleff has a Master of Finance degree from the University of Maryland, which they obtained between 2014 and 2015. Michael also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same university, which they earned between 2012 and 2015. In addition, they hold another Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Michael Eleff has also passed both Level 1 and Level 2 of the CFA exams offered by the CFA Institute.
