Andrei Stoica

Andrei Stoica is the managing partner at STOICA. Andrei has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on product development and information technology operations.

Most recently, they were the chief technology officer at BioTelemetry, Inc., where they led product development and information technology operations for the leading remote bio-sensing and medical information technology company. The company’s IoT platform for medical devices delivered connected health information from millions of patients every year to improve quality of life and reduce the cost of care. BioTelemetry was acquired by Philips in 2021.

Previously, Andrei was the senior vice president of IT systems development at IQVIA, where they led the R&D for IQVIA Data Cloud Platform, the infrastructure for the largest data brokerage business in the world . In 2020 the Data Cloud Platform was one of the top 25 private data clouds in the world, it had 120,000 data suppliers, and managed more than 1 million data feeds in over 100 countries.

Andrei has also held positions as director of information technology at IMS Health and senior system integrator at Spin Systems. Andrei has a wealth of experience in developing and managing large scale systems and platforms.

Andrei then went on to earn a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
