Ilia Slobodov

Ilia Slobodov has a long history of work experience. Starting in 2006, Ilia worked as a Research Assistant at the Canadian Space Agency. Two years later, Ilia became a Vacuum and Cryogenics Assistant at TRIUMF. In 2009, Ilia became a Research Assistant at the University of Washington. In 2011, Ilia was hired as a Research Engineer at Eagle Harbor Technologies, Inc. In 2019, Ilia moved to SpaceX as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer. Currently, Ilia is a Power Systems Lead at STOKE Space Technologies.

Ilia Slobodov completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia from 2003 to 2009. Ilia then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering at the University of Washington from 2009 to 2011.
