Erik Visser

Erik Visser has a diverse work experience in various industries. Erik started their career as a Founder/Owner of Invenso b2b, a company they established in 2008. After that, they worked as a Software Engineer at De Schouw Witgoed for four years, where their primary responsibility was software development. In 2015, Erik joined ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as an intern in Commodities Trade Finance. Erik then moved on to KPMG, where they held several roles, including Consultant, Senior Consultant, and Manager in Data & Analytics. During their time at KPMG, Erik gained expertise in leveraging data, analytics, AI, and IIoT. Currently, Erik is working at Stolt-Nielsen Limited, where they are a Global Director of Architecture & Engineering. Their main focus is on enabling the organization to leverage technology for business growth and supporting IT projects.

Erik Visser has a Bachelor of Science degree in International Bachelor of Economics and Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, obtained from 2009 to 2013. Erik then pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Administration/International Administration from Leiden University, completed between 2013 and 2015. Erik also completed a Post master program in Data Science from Jheronimus Academy of Data Science from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they undertook a traineeship in personal development and leadership at Navigators Studentenverenigingen from 2012 to 2013. Prior to their university studies, Erik attended Erfgooiers College and acquired an Atheneum degree in Nature and Health from 2002 to 2009. Erik holds several additional certifications in areas such as Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, Azure Data Engineering, Product Management, and Scrum.
