Alexander Nyren

Alexander Nyren is the Head of Reinsurance at Stone Ridge. Prior to joining Stone Ridge, Alexander was a Principal in the insurance practice of Oliver Wyman, where he worked with reinsurers, insurers, and government entities on risk management, underwriting, and regulatory matters. Previously, he structured catastrophe bond and quota share investments at Barclays Capital/Lehman Brothers. Alexander earned an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University.
