Laila Oinas

Laila Oinas has extensive experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving as Dual Hotel General Manager for Candlewood Suites and Suburban Studios in Sterling under IHG Hotels & Resorts since July 2000. Previous roles include General Manager at multiple Candlewood Suites locations, where significant improvements were made in distressed properties and successful pre-opening operations were managed. Laila also has experience as an Assistant General Manager, overseeing staffing and vendor relations for newly opened hotels. Additional positions include event staff at Stone Tower Winery, bartender/server for Purple Onion Catering Co., and General Manager for Homestead Studio Suites. Early career highlights include a Restaurant Manager role at Washington Court Hotel. Laila holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and Commercial Recreation from East Carolina University.
