Rachel A. Hirst

Rachel Hirst, Ph.D., is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Stonehill College since August 2011. Prior to this role, Rachel held a similar position at Massasoit Community College from 2007 to 2011. Rachel's educational background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Medical Microbiology at Tufts University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Microbiology and Immunology from Penn State College of Medicine. Additionally, Rachel earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Spanish from Stonehill College.
