Astha Ummat

Astha Ummat is a seasoned professional in ESG integration with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Director, ESG at Stonepeak since April 2024, Astha previously held the position of Vice President, ESG Investment Management at Temasek, focusing on ESG integration and value creation in the Americas and EMEA. At Centerbridge Partners, L.P., Astha led the global ESG strategy for private equity, credit, and real estate from May 2017 to June 2022. Astha's notable achievements include recognition as Young Energy Professional of the Year in 2019 by the Association of Energy Engineers and contributions as a guest lecturer at Yale School of Management. Astha's academic background includes a Master's Degree from Columbia University's SIPA and a Master of Science in Environmental Economics from TERI School of Advanced Studies.
