Matt Tate

Matt is a Managing Director in the Global Energy Group at Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners. Matt brings over 20 years of major infrastructure development, delivery and operational experience. Before joining Stonepeak, Matt was a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital where he was Head of Macquarie Projects, managing the technical and commercial aspects of infrastructure investments. Matt has participated in the management of over $20 billion of infrastructure projects and investments across a broad range of infrastructure sectors including traditional, social and renewable infrastructure.

Matt holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Engineering from La Trobe University, Victoria; a Masters of Commercial Law from Deakin University, Victoria and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Newcastle, Australia.
