Ruth Morrison has a variety of work experience, primarily in the insurance industry. Their most recent position was as a Commercial Account Manager/Transportation Specialist at StoneRidge Insurance Brokers starting in November 2020. Prior to that, Ruth worked at Old Republic Insurance Company of Canada as a Commercial Underwriter from November 2018 to November 2020, and as an Underwriting Assistant (Commercial Auto) from July 2014 to October 2018. Ruth also has experience outside of the insurance industry, having worked as a Clinic Administrator at Absolute Physio (DSD Management) from February 2013 to July 2014, and as a Head Cashier and Customer Service Associate at The Home Depot Canada from March 2012 to February 2013. Ruth also has previous experience as an Office Manager at Argo Traders LLP from 2006 to 2008, and as an Operations Manager at Mack Brooks Exhibitions Ltd from 1996 to 2006. Ruth Morrison holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree, as well as designations in insurance (CIP) and risk management (CRM).

Ruth Morrison BA(Hons), CIP, CRM has a strong education background in the field of risk management. Ruth earned their CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation from the Global Risk Management Institute in April 2021. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in European Studies (Economics, Political Science, French) from Loughborough University, which they completed from 1990 to 1993. Ruth also holds A-Levels in Political Science and Government, French, and German from Padworth College, which they completed from 1988 to 1990.
