Sharifa James is a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ community, currently serving as Co-Founder of Kiki Bristol since August 2017, where the initiative creates a welcoming space for LGBTQ people of color to connect through music and dance. Sharifa also holds the position of LGBT+ Community Development Officer for Older Adults at AGE UK Bristol since May 2018, focusing on empowering individuals and fostering community strength. As a BAME/PoC LGBT Role Model with Stonewall and a Trustee with LGBT Bristol, Sharifa is committed to promoting inclusion and visibility for LGBTQ people of color, combating discrimination, and facilitating community engagement. Sharifa's educational background includes studies at Wiltshire College from 2004 to 2005.
