Nick Merriam

Nicholas Merriam is a dedicated professional in sports content management and video coordination, currently serving as the Football Video Coordinator for Stony Brook Athletics since April 2023. Nicholas co-founded Defiant Takes Football, where the focus is on providing in-depth analysis and insights into higher-level football concepts. Previous roles include working as a Football Video Scout at Sports Info Solutions, where data collection and scouting reports contributed to the SIS Rookie Handbook, and as a Draft Analyst with Boom or Bust: The Draft Show, where significant content creation and audience growth were achieved. Nicholas also gained valuable experience through internships in football scouting at Syracuse University Athletics and various leadership roles within the Syracuse University Rugby Football Club. An alumnus of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Nicholas possesses a strong foundation in media and communication within sports contexts.
