Dr. Paul Aitken has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Paul Aitken MD MPH currently serves as the Chief of Population Health and Associate Dean for Clinical Integration at Stony Brook Medicine. Throughout their career, Dr. Aitken has implemented innovative population health management initiatives, incorporating evidence-based medicine, population-based medicine, continuous quality improvement, and medical information management to improve measurable health outcomes at the population level.

Paul Aitken MD MPH CPE FAAFP holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, with a focus on Public Health and Preventive Medicine. Paul Aitken MD MPH also completed a Public Health & Preventive Medicine Fellowship at Stony Brook University. In addition, they completed a Family & Community Medicine Residency at Duke University and an Obstetrics & Gynecology Internship at NYU and Bellevue through New York University. Dr. Aitken holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University at Buffalo, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physician Assistant studies from The City College of New York.
