Linda I. Rosa-Lugo

Linda I. Rosa-Lugo, Ed.D., CCC-SLP, ASHA Fellow, serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at Stony Brook University since May 2023 and has an extensive background in speech-language pathology spanning several decades. Notably, Linda is recognized for outstanding contributions in international achievement and multicultural affairs through roles at the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), including Vice President for Speech-Language Pathology Practice. Linda's previous positions include founding director of the UCF Listening Center, associate dean, and program director at the University of Central Florida, and president of the Hispanic Caucus of ASHA. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University, alongside multiple master's degrees from reputable institutions. Linda emphasizes culturally and linguistically appropriate practices in speech-language pathology and has significantly contributed to the treatment of communication disorders within diverse populations.
